What is the most tornado prone nation in the world?

No, it is not America, although you would be forgiven for thinking so.

Dr Fujita of Chicago University calculated that since Britain has an average of 33 tornadoes every year, in an area 38 times smaller than the USA, you are twice as likely to witness a tornado here, than anywhere else in the world.
